ROHO products are unique in their ability to conform to the body’s shape. No other products have the patented shape-fitting technology of ROHO. No other products can more evenly distribute the forces of body weight or reduce the effects of friction or shear on tissue. Time and time again, studies have proven that ROHO is the optimal choice for preventing or treating pressure ulcers and post-operative wounds. The design of these innovative surfaces deliver life-changing benefits, offering comfort and protection to people at their most vulnerable. ROHO is the pioneer of air-cell based cushions, and created DRY FLOATATION TECHNOLOGY®, mimicking the pressure-relieving properties of water.
Care Plus w/ROHO technology
The Care Plus w/ ROHO® DRY FLOATATION® Mattress Overlay System creates the ideal environment of protection and healing with the ORIGINAL non-powered, air-filled, adjustable, zoned, reactive mattress overlay. The performance, efficiency and quality of this overlay system are unequaled in the industry. Comprised of soft, interconnected air cells, the DRY FLOATATION mattress overlay conforms precisely to the body’s contours, helping soft tissue to maintain its shape in order to maximize the healing process as well as prevention. A custom designed foam perimeter creates a supportive and stable environment for bedside patient care and transfers into and out of the system. With unparalleled comfort and a strong clinical advantage, the Care Plus with ROHO Technology is a premier surface for patients dealing with Stage III and IV wounds.
Care Plus HD w/ ROHO Technology
The Care Plus HD w/ ROHO® DRY FLOATATION® Mattress Overlay System creates the ideal environment of protection and healing for the bariatric patient. With a weight capacity of 750 lbs and readily available in both 42″ and 48″ widths, this surface is the go to mattress for bariatric wound management. Featuring the ORIGINAL non-powered, air-filled, adjustable, zoned, reactive mattress overlay. A custom high density foam perimeter creates a supportive and stable environment for bedside patient care and safe transfers into and out of the system. With unparalleled comfort and a strong clinical advantage, the Care Plus with ROHO Technology is a premier surface for patients dealing with Stage III and IV wounds.
The microAIR series of surfaces are an advanced series of powered mattress replacement systems featuring multiple clinical modalities; Low Air Loss, Alternating Pressure, and Lateral Rotation. These mattresses are considered dynamic support surfaces and include innovative features to give the ultimate pressure relief. With the implementation of pressure ulcer prevention protocols, long term care facilities may also reduce costs associated with treating pressure ulcers, improve resident quality of life, and decrease risk of litigation. These dynamic therapy surfaces can be one of the tools to assist in treatment and continued well being.
The microAIR 55 series mattresses include a series of mattresses to redistribute pressure while offering comfort and stability. The series consists of a full featured alternating pressure overlay, an alternating pressure mattress system, and alternating pressure with on demand low air loss mattress system. The innovative features on the control units for the provide patient benefit and caregiver satisfaction. The MA55 includes all of the features of an alternating pressure mattress in addition to on demand low air loss. On demand low air loss can be activated with a push of a button. When activated, air is sent inside the mattress to keep the mattress environment cooler for the resident, as well as help with moisture management.
The microAIR 65 series consists of larger mattress systems to reduce interface pressure to aid in the prevention and treatment of Stage I to IV pressure ulcers. The MA65 is an alternating pressure mattress system with on demand low air loss. The larger, more powerful control unit enhances therapy by continually monitoring the resident’s position on the mattress and makes necessary adjustments to maintain the optimal pressure level for effective pressure reduction and comfort for the resident. The larger compressor also provides faster, more efficient and complete therapy cycles, while cooling the body and improving air circulation.
The microAIR 80 series are true low air loss mattresses which helps managed skin moisture to avoid maceration and maintain a dryer environment for pressure ulcer healing in the treatment of Stage I to Stage IV pressure ulcers. The MA80 mattress is a true low air loss mattress replacement system, and the MA85 mattress is a true low air loss mattress with alternating pressure. The mattress and blower system automatically maintains five different pressure zones for softer head and heel sections and firmer torso pressure interfaces. The state of the art controller technology monitors the blower speed to maintain the appropriate surface pressure after the interface pressure is set.
The microAIR lateral rotation mattresses provide pressure relief and moisture maintenance for residents who need to be turned for pressure relief or other health indications. The MA90Z and MA 95Z mattresses are designed with the patented z-cell air cell design which allows for a more comfortable and smoother rotation. For the safety and comfort of the resident and caregiver, the microAIR state of the art technology monitors the blower and compressor speeds to maintain the appropriate surface pressure once it has been set. Constant air pressure side bolsters help contain the resident on the mattress. Another protective measure of the microAIR 90 series therapeutic systems for resident safety is that they recenter the resident between rotations. Also, the lateral rotation mode will be automatically stopped with a bed in fowler or upright mode. As with other microAIR mattresses, these therapeutic systems offer relief for pressure ulcers from Stages I to IV.
